The very first page of website was a picture of a musician who months later was signed to a major record label. It was uploaded to the web by someone who has since changed professions from web designer and underground club creator to Landscape Artist. Fast Forward to 2008: After searching for local collaborators in the field of High Tech Art & Entertainment, KaRi from imports multimedia talent from Kansas City, MO. Presents .... a mini movie by Lucinda McNary, an artist, painter and "Virtual Tour Guide" who just released the first full feature movie on called "Gone." McNary's most recent creation is a four minute machinima movie depicting Long Beach, California's for ThePrimeSpot's Anniversary Celebration. Presents.... is a presention of Long Beach, California's East Village during the Second Saturday Artwalk September 13, 2008. Featured artists include Cindi Bernhardt ( , Margery Sauve ( and KaRi's mentor, Louise Kripal ( These three women, although faced with challenges everyday are a true inspiration to KaRi and those around them.

Supportive team includes Brian Wells, Mike Lovato, and Steven Stein of Pat Bott's logo, Raymundo Gardea's mural and works of Lucinda McNary, K.M.Nielsen, Josh Nardo, and Ken Estes of LBCTelevision adorn Linden Avenue in the movie while in reality a plethora of exhibiting artists and crafters on Linden ( a street that gets transformed into CSI TV scenes quite frequently), and in booths and galleries are thrown an Ice Cream Block Party by Dreyers Slow-Churned Ice Cream.

David L. Remmers of Jazz Scat cat Margery Sauve (check out her album on CDbaby) contribute to the soundtrack. Long Beach locals and international tourists will recognize a hotel or two and the Long Beach shoreline but of course the movie would not be complete without The Passport,'s free "Tour D'Art" Bus.

The Prime Spot has celebrated anniversaries in the past at Recreation Park, , Frenchy's Bistro, LBArts (Long Beach's oldest art organization), ThePrimeSpot's Big Red Bus Art Tour from Seal Beach to San Pedro, the Museum of Latin American Arts' Trompe L' oeil Triangle Garden, The Sky Room, and in years earlier, holed up in a tiny studio imagining the world's newest medium.

In 2008 ThePrimeSpot celebrates another year of local talent inside Gallery Eleven/Seven located at 117 Linden Avenue, Long Beach, California 90802 as Lucinda McNary's "moviestorm" depicts. McNary's presence during the Sept 13th Art Reception is via new technology "The East Village Artwalk " movie can also be viewed in the gallery during Soundwalk and University By the Sea, two other eVillage events.
