nowHIRE.com announced it has enabled AutoZone to decreased turnover by 46 percent and save an estimated $5 million annually. nowHIRE completed implementation of the enterprise-wide applicant tracking and talent acquisition system in November 2007.
Since the implementation, AutoZone, the nation’s largest automobile parts retailer, has seen a 50 percent increase in the number of qualified candidates, a 20 percent reduction in time-to-fill for corporate jobs and a 20 percent reduction in terminations for integrity/internal theft.

The system is a fully integrated, Web-based, multiple-track application process for corporate, hourly, internal and contingent workers. Candidates for corporate positions pre-screen themselves with weighted question types and also provide a resume. Hourly “store” candidates are put through a more robust yet extremely easy-to-navigate “applicant self-selection” process that extracts pertinent candidate information to facilitate a quicker, more consistent hire.
Additionally, the implementation of the nowHIRE eSignature module has enabled a completely paperless electronic hiring process. The process eliminates paper usage, mailings, postage, imaging, storage, printing and faxing of applications and on-boarding forms.
