Baby Celebration LA welcomes the addition of events for Tweens to its posh, highly anticipated children's expo with a name change to Baby & Tween Celebration LA

We aren't changing things

Baby Celebration LA is commemorating the completion of its highly anticipated expansion into the hip and trendy tween market with a new name, Baby & Tween Celebration LA. Baby & Tween Celebration LA will showcase the latest trend-setting products and fashions for the 'not-a-baby-anymore' genre, in addition to it's highly popular child-focused offerings, at the upcoming April 2009 expo.

Seascape Production owners and producers of Baby & Tween Celebration LA, Penny Domschot and Patrice Meluskey, recognized the opportunity-and demand- for an expanded market after attendees of Baby Celebration 2008 asked if the duo would consider offering wares for tweens at upcoming events. "We realized that the babies who attended the first year are now toddlers, and the toddlers are becoming tweens," Meluskey shared. "So it made sense to grow with our loyal audience."

With cutting edge exhibitors, attendees in the thousands, celebrity appearances, speakers and more, Baby & Tween Celebration LA delivers the largest exclusive event in the country catering to parents and kids. The eclectic mix of manufacturers, retail exhibitors and savoir-faire consumers allows businesses to reach their target demographic, often ahead of the competition, while shoppers covet the hottest children's fashions and products.

Events geared for tweens at the 2009 Baby & Tween Celebration event include a magazine lounge, VIP meet and greet with tween celebrities, and fashion shows.

As well, the expanded market base allows for broader brand loyalty for retailers which offer products for children from birth through young adolescence. "We're all about creating relationships between parents and brands that span childhood," Domschot offered.

Past participants looking forward to Baby & Tween Celebration 2009 events needn't fear a change in the event's popular, fun and chic venue, "We aren't changing things," stated Domschot, "Just enhancing it!"

Penny Domschot and Patrice Meluskey are both work-at-home moms who co-own, an event production company. After creating the San Diego Interior Design & Landscape Expo, a wildly successful event that changed the face of consumer trade shows, they sold it to DMG World Media, an international exhibition and publishing company with revenues of $293 million, and made a name for themselves without sacrificing their ability to actively parent their children.

Baby & Tween Celebration LA kicks off April 25th & 26th, 2009 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
