He received this award after a committee of orthopedic surgeons evaluated his significant contribution to his specialty.

Dr. St. Louis was honored as 2008 Physician of the Year during the President's Dinner of the House of Delegates and Annual Scientific Meeting held at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Hilton Head, South Carolina in June. Dr. St. Louis was selected to receive this prestigious award by the American Association of Physician Specialists, Inc. (AAPS) in the spring.
