Couture fashion label, Debra Davenport, has announced plans to debut its Spring/Summer 2009 collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, October 15th, in Culver City, California. The company's designer and CEO, Debra Davenport, will oversee the runway presentation of her luxury clothing line. Debra Davenport is the first Arizona designer to show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (per IMG in New York).

About the designer/CEO: Debra Davenport, PhD, is a media personality, fashion editor and internationally known entrepreneur-turned-designer. Her fashions are sought after by a spectrum of women who seek and appreciate exceptional design, sumptuous quality and unexpected details. The line includes chic separates that transition easily from the boardroom to after-hours social functions, elegant city wear, swimwear, cocktail attire, evening gowns and bridal. Plans are underway for a signature fragrance, and lines of handbags, shoes and tableware. The fashion show starts at 7:00 p.m. Celebrity attendance and media coverage of the show will be extensive.
