Global contract manufacturer of complex medical instrumentation Appoints Executives to key positions of President and Chief Operating Officer

As President of BIT Group (which is composed of BIT Analytical Instruments, GmbH, BIT Analytical Instruments, Inc., and Source Scientific, LLC), Mr. Alfred Lang will oversee Global Program Management of BIT Group companies. He will be directly responsible for integrated facilitation of client services, technology, platforms and market development, with particular emphasis on the growing USA market.

In his role as COO of BIT Analytical Instruments, Dipl -Ing. Thomas Eck, will carry on the inspiring work of outgoing COO, Mr. Karlheinz Schiller, who will officially retire in October, 2008. Mr. Eck, who joined BIT in 2007 as Vice President of Supply Chain, Logistics and Quality Management, brings fifteen years of international experience with highly reputed manufacturers of laboratory and medical in-strumentation. He has demonstrated an in-depth understanding in the areas of ra-tionalization and implementation of new processes, technologies and operational standards. Of special note is his proven expertise in process optimization and production cost reduction.
