Hamman Marketing has built a strong relationship with the BDC in Jordan, as key HMA Associate Judith Halleran combined her experience as former Sr. VP of Global Operations for the International Executive Service Corps (IESC) and her ten plus years as a marketing principal with owner Al Hamman's extensive sales and marketing expertise. Together, these marketing veterans work hand in hand with the BDC's export development Tatweer office and the US Agency for International Development (USAID), which helps fund the center's programs. At the IESC, Halleran designed the Fast Track trade program approach, a featured strategy of the Jordan US Business Partnership program and an integral part of IESC's export trade and competitiveness programming worldwide.

The U.S. Market Entry Program is a comprehensive three-phase program for international clients wanting to enter the U.S. market. Phase One comprises of customized market research for the individual companies; in the case of the BDC companies industries include medical products, food, footwear, cosmetics, and building supplies. Phase Two offers a series of one-on-one meetings and strategy sessions with individual company officials in Tatweer's corporate offices in Amman, Jordan. This phase includes creation of a full spectrum of marketing communications materials such as advertisements, sales literature, and press releases, crafted for each company's target audience. The marketing assistance includes U.S. trade show attendance on behalf of the participating companies. Also, a trade mission -- if appropriate -- where US companies and potential trade partners can meet with the Jordanian companies in Amman to facilitate opportunities for both U.S. and Jordanian interests. Phase Three moves out of the launch period, providing ongoing sales management and support in the U.S. on behalf of the participating companies.
