Blog Giveaway Emphasizes Saving Money

FinancialLearn.Com gives away two $15 Starbucks gift cards every week to promote saving money.

(PRWEB) September 7, 2008 -- FinancialLearn.com (http://www.financiallearn.com), a frugal living and saving money blog, is giving away Starbucks gift cards in an attempt to promote frugal living with their So You Think You Can Save Giveaway.

"We're excited to offer this new weekly giveaway," said Faron Benoit of FinancialLearn.com. "We post a scenario and participants simply answer the question with a frugal response in the comments section. The main idea behind the giveaway is to promote frugal thought. If we can get just one person to start thinking frugally, the free Starbucks did its job. It starts every Friday and participants have till midnight on Thursday to submit their answer."

Two lucky winners of the So You Think You Can Save Giveaway will receive a $15 Starbucks gift card. The winners are chosen at random using a random number generator in order to give all participants an even chance.

"The giveaway is designed to raise awareness of different saving money options," said Faron. "A participant might look at one of our scenarios, come up with a frugal idea and use their idea in the future. For now, prizes are only available to U.S and Canadian residents, we hope to broden our reach in the next few months."
