Shabnam Kazmi is Vice President, U.S. Business Development for sanofi-aventis, overseeing licensing, business development and alliance management activities for the U.S. affiliate of sanofi-aventis, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the world. Previously, Shabnam was Associate Vice President, Oncology Marketing and New Product Planning. She has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Before joining sanofi-aventis in 2003, Shabnam held strategic and commercial roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb in the areas of oncology, HIV and anti-infectives, including supporting global licensing. Prior to BMS, she was a management consultant at Booz-Allen and Hamilton's pharmaceutical practice and her early career includes six years managing Phase I through Phase IV clinical trials across therapeutic areas.
