The Stowe Global Coal Index℠ (ticker: COAL) will add three new components, effective 6:00 PM (EST) Sunday, September 21, 2008. One stock will be deleted from the index, changing the number of index components to 43. The changes result from the index's quarterly rebalancing.
New York, NY (Vocus/PRWEB ) September 6, 2008 -- The Stowe Global Coal Index℠ (ticker: COAL) will add three new components, effective 6:00 PM (EST) Sunday, September 21, 2008. One stock will be deleted from the index, changing the number of index components to 43. The changes result from the index's quarterly rebalancing. Additions to COAL are:
Synthesis Energy Systems Inc. (ticker: SYMX)
Adaro Energy PT (ticker: ADRO IJ)
Aquila Resources Limited (ticker: AQA AU)
The deletion from COAL is:
BANPU (ticker: BANPU TB)

The Stowe Global Coal Index℠ is a capitalization-weighted, float-adjusted index of the most prominent coal stocks in the world. To be included in the COAL index, stocks must pass multiple screens, including for capitalization, float, exchange listing, share price and turnover.
