Las Vegas Rockers Left Standing Sign to Tom Kat Records

Sin City rock group Left Standing signs a record deal with new music label at House of Blues in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Las Vegas, NV (Billboard Publicity Wire/PRWEB ) September 8, 2008 -- Tom Kat Records | DSN Music, a service of the Digital Syndicate Network (DSN), announced today that they have signed the Las Vegas-based alternative rock group Left Standing to a recording deal with Tom Kat Records.

"This is an incredibly talented group of musicians, and we are truly proud to have them join our label," said Guy W. Giuliano, President of Tom Kat Records | DSN Music. "Left Standing is well known and respected in the Vegas music scene, now we're going to give them a platform for a global audience."

The Sin City rock group formed in 2002, with lead vocalist Danny Pino, guitarists Jesse Pino and Beau Stewart, bassist Chris Pino, and percussionist Zak Weidle.

Left Standing previously released two independent albums, with their 2005 debut "Life In Stereo" and "Living Room Sessions" in 2007. Several tracks from these projects have become popular via radio and the internet, such as the pop-rock single "Sorry" and acoustic power ballad "American Anthem."

Left Standing has been balancing double duties performing live, while in the studio fine-tuning original music. Left Standing has shared the stage with some of today's hottest acts, such as: Stone Temple Pilots, Godsmack, Cypress Hill, System Of A Down, Papa Roach, Stained and Static-X.

The official record signing took place at the House of Blues in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, after the group performed for a live acoustic showcase. Group members from Left Standing and manager Jason Alles, joined Tom Kat/DSN executives Guy Giuliano, Denise Pearcy, and Andrea Quist to consummate the deal.

The agreement calls for several records to be released via the label over a five-year period. The first project, which is in development, is due to release in first quarter 2009. Tom Kat Records will provide Left Standing national, international, and online distribution.
