It's the greatest value that Web 2.0 delivers -- the power of collective intelligence to foster innovation from participants anywhere in the world. And the best part is that our consultants can monetize their contributions.
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) September 9, 2008
Moderandi Inc., creator of revenue generation software and tools for marketing consultants and business leaders, today announced the preview of its upcoming Consulting M.O. (http://www.ConsultingMO.com) Certified Distributor Program. The program will create an open platform that marketing consultants, marketing firms, creative firms and business strategy consultants worldwide can use to gain leverage and grow their practices.
The program resulted from Moderandi's recently completed beta program. A key finding was that most consultant clients added their own intellectual property to the existing Consulting M.O. process, tools and software.
"They licensed our process and career's worth of marketing tools across 29 business subjects, but then wrapped the process around their existing offerings," said Jim Sagar, President and CEO of Moderandi Inc. "Why not allow them to add their expertise to the offering for everyone to use?"
It's a dramatic change from the current offering, controlled by Moderandi Inc.'s team of consultants.
"Closed systems are dying or dead," said Scott Salkin, President of Identity Studios and beta participant. "The Internet is the greatest information exchange ever created. Web 2.0 is rapidly changing the marketing function. Its growth outpaces most consultant's ability to expand their offerings, so it forces a consultant like me to make a choice -- either build deep expertise in one single area, or expand my intellectual capital to keep up. Since day one we've focused on the latter, feeling it provides our clients with a more integrated and complete all-around experience, while also making more business sense for us from a long-term revenue and growth perspective."
The platform will be open to all Consulting M.O. licensees and distributors. Participants can private-label the material to use in their own practice, add their own material for all to use, and gain new clients from the network of consultants and end-users.
"What the platform does is allow our partners to add value faster than we can create and add it ourselves," said Sagar. "It's the greatest value that Web 2.0 delivers -- the power of collective intelligence to foster innovation from participants anywhere in the world. And the best part is that our consultants can monetize their contributions."
The existing Consulting M.O. tools and methodology already cover each subject in-depth. For example, a consultant shaping a client's brand strategy can use the existing best practices to
•Perform a Brand Audit
•Develop a Brand Architecture
•Create a Brand Strategy
•Develop a Brand Story
•Define Brand Visual Requirements
•Define Brand Operational Requirements
Seasoned consultants may have developed deeper and complementary exercises and tools that they can add, under their own brand, to the existing subjects. More participants should add more content and tools, which creates more value for distributors, licensees and ultimately end-use clients.
The Consulting M.O.'s beta program quantified the different profiles of consultants that can benefit from a license, and those that fit the Certified Distributor Program profile.
