Coachella, Calif. (PRWEB) September 9, 2008
For the first time ever, this year's Vans Warped Tour will allow concert-goers to instantly capture the performances from Ernie Ball's Battle of the Bands stage for posterity. Ernie Ball has partnered with Unite the United, a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation that supports grassroots charities across the country, and Aderra, creator of "Live in a Flash"™ USB technology, to provide an innovative way to memorialize the once in a lifetime experience of this year's live shows.
By stopping by the Unite the United booth, Warped Tour concert-goers can pick up a voucher for their Aderra wristband. Then, all of the live performances from the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands winners will be recorded and uploaded onto the wristband for pick-up immediately following the show. Songs can then be transferred to a computer through the wristband's USB interface.
Unite the United was started by the producers of the Vans Warped Tour to support grassroots charitable efforts nationwide. It donates funds to organizations with a wide range of mission statements, from homeless shelters to eco-charities and natural disaster relief programs. Unite the United helps connect artists with causes, and causes with people. This year, Warped Tour attendees have the rare opportunity to support the charitable cause while capturing all the live performances from the show.
"We're proud to partner with Unite the United, and also to provide fans across the country with this unique, cool opportunity," said Brian Ball, marketing manager of Ernie Ball/Music Man. "It's a win-win. Music fans get the opportunity to re-live the experience of the Warped Tour and at the same time contribute to the great work Unite the United helps support. This opportunity allows Ernie Ball to not only support the fresh, independent music that has come to represent the Battle of the Bands stage, but also the charitable works of a great organization."
