DiscountElectronics.com Leases New Facility, Increases Employee Base By 15%

DiscountElectronics.com has begun moving into a new industrial space earmarked for the sorting, testing and storing of Dell computer and laptop parts.

(PRWEB) September 8, 2008 -- As of September 2nd, First E-Commerce, Inc. began moving into 15,000 square feet owned by Prologis. The Wall Street facility will house the testing operations as well as storage of the Dell computer components sold on DiscountElectronics.com.

The new location will be home to 20 Austin employees, 8 of which will be new hires. The building is a temporary solution while they look for a larger long term location that they will likely purchase.

Not only will this expansion allow us to process more orders and employ more people but it will also speed things up. The distance the product will travel through delivery, sort, testing, storage and shipment will be significantly reduced allowing us to do much more in less time
