Dryout Inc. Partners with National Hotel Maintenance Company to help Restore Hotel Properties in the New Orleans Area

Fort Myers, FL (PRWEB) September 8, 2008 -- Dryout Inc. recently announced a partnership with Advanced Catastrophe Technologies (ACT) as an equipment provider for the power and restoration of hotel properties surrounding New Orleans following the recent Hurricane Gustav flooding. ACT is a proven leader in large scale disaster response, while Dryout has responded to localized flooding disasters county by county from coast to coast.

ACT provides large scale disaster response services to hotels, commercial properties, and medical facilities across the United States. This company is able to provide rapid emergency responses to numerous disasters including hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, floods, storms, trauma scenes, and other catastrophes thanks to a nationwide "First Responders" program. These first responders are vendors that ACT works with on a local basis to provide an immediate response.

After Hurricane Gustav put its sights on Louisiana's Gulf Coast, flooding in New Orleans was inevitable. Though far short of the devastation that Hurricane Katrina inflicted three years prior, Gustav caused a great deal of flooding and could lead to mold growth.

"In the hospitality business, empty rooms are unprofitable rooms. After a major flood event, hotels are filled with water - and empty, unprofitable rooms. From their standpoint, a quick response translates into fewer lost dollars," said Mark Decherd, president and CEO of Dryout. "However, from our standpoint, a quick response is absolutely essential to prevent further water damage and the growth of toxic mold. We understand the need for hotels to become operational again quickly but we also want to prevent further problems posed by the water. We have the equipment that ACT needs in order to help their clients and are pleased to be of service."

The partnership between ACT and Dryout, Inc. involves two nationwide networks of water damage professionals working together to help the hospitality industry in New Orleans and the surrounding communities to dry out and get back on their feet once again.
