Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) September 9, 2008
Orion Health, a leading provider of clinical workflow and integration technology for the healthcare sector, today announced two executive additions to help fuel and manage growth of its North American operations. The company also officially announces the opening of an office located in Boston, Massachusetts that will focus on providing customers with expanded access to support and on fueling Orion Health growth in the region.
"North America is a strategic growth market for Orion Health and the new Boston office will extend support from Santa Monica and Edmonton offices all the way to the Eastern Time Zone," said Paul Viskovich, President Orion Health North America.
"During this strategic growth phase, it is important that we apply the structure, key personnel and processes to successfully manage expansion. Building a broader executive team is an essential part of our strategy and these new hires help us further establish leadership in the industry and within the company."
Eric Demers, Vice President Operations Orion Health North America joins the company's Boston location from IBM Corporation where he was the associate partner and business development executive, Healthcare and Life Sciences. Demers will focus on improving North American operations and customer communications by developing standardized approaches that leverage Orion Health's global resources.
"As a company, we must understand our clients strengths and areas of need so we can better meet their expectations with our current products and services while providing them valuable insight for future initiatives," Demers states.
Corinna Fernandez joins Orion Health's North American headquarters in Santa Monica as a Vice President of Human Resources. Fernandez has solid experience in start-up operations and a strong history of executing valuable initiatives in HR organizations. With a significant growth forecast for Orion Health's North American operations in a competitive IT market, Fernandez will help Orion develop an employment brand strategy that establishes the company as a destination workplace.
"Understanding the ever evolving workforce is critical to creating a place where people want to come to work and do well every day. When a candidate looks for a job in today's market, they look to join the brands they trust and can identify with. The companies that will be successful in the fierce competition for talent today understands that brand loyalty starts from the inside."
Earlier this year, Orion Health announced a new service and support location office in the United Kingdom, serving Northern European customers. In May 2008, the company announced its position as New Zealand's leading software exporter, reporting NZ$53 million in consolidated gross revenue for 2007-2008.
