Function Point Productivity Software Inc., a worldwide leader in employee time tracking software designed specifically for the creative and design industries, announced today the next version of its flag ship project management product Function Point, with an important release to the product foundation, enhanced integration of Forecasting revenue and resource requirements along with improved support for Apple's lastest Mac OS X Leopard.

This upgrade to the Function Point integrated online project management solution is already in place at a number of clients and will be rolled out September 10th to the rest of the solution users.

Additional features include:

  • Revenue forecasting by client, job and job types across user defined periods.
  • Upgrade and enhancements of the resource utilization capabilities including load balancing across Roles and individuals, reporting of % utilization, and forecast of availability.
  • Additional capabilities for Insertion orders, purchase orders and individual expenses.
  • Re-writing of all the report calling actions.
  • Update of the weekly employee timesheet view.

In addition, over 50 minor adjustments have been made to the online project management solution, all based on the feedback we receive from our client users.
As always Function Point does not require installation or conversion and all updates are at no cost to our users.
