Under this unique arrangement, HealthPass members, as well as individuals who don’t have any health insurance, will have access to the SUNRx Discount card program which allows individuals to receive discounts on all types of prescription medications. Savings can range from 15 percent on the cost of brand name drugs to 70 percent on generic drugs. The SUNRx Discount card can also be used purchase over-the-counter drugs at a discounted price. Individuals can use the discount card at more than 45,000 retail locations including national chains and most independent pharmacies as well as through mail order programs.

The SUNRx Discount card is available to HealthPass members who are enrolled in health plans that don’t have prescription drug coverage as well as those whose plans include drug coverage. In some instances, the SUNRx Discount price might be lower than yethe plan’s co-payment. Furthermore, individuals who do not have any health insurance can visit the co-branded website http://www.sunrxdiscount.com/HealthPass and print a discount card for immediate use. There are no memberships, fees or costs to enroll, nor do individuals have to disclose any personal information to access the card and be eligible to receive discounts.
