Local Toronto Children's author book reaches #1 on Amazon's Hot New Releases in Bedtime and Dreaming Children's books.

This book would be a wonderful tool in a primary classroom as it follows a pattern and teachers could ask their students to create their own pattern books. It also makes for a great read aloud and lends itself as a springboard for visual arts, drama and of course, class discussions (i.e. community circle) about dreams...this is a must have for educators and families!

Local first time children's book author, Stefanie Nastou, never dreamed of reaching #1 on Amazon's Hot New Releases list. "Dreams In My Dreambook" (published by Angelface Books an Imprint of Wyatt-MacKenzie), was launched less than a week ago, and hit #1 on Amazon's Hot New Releases in Bedtime and Dreaming Children's books.

A recent review posted by an educator on Amazon suggests, "Being a Vice Principal in a busy Toronto school, I always like to have an array of texts available for students, parents and teachers. This wonderful find boasts of vibrant and engaging illustrations and cheerful, rhyming text. It inspires readers to naturally make text to self connections (one of our main literacy goals!) as children can easily relate to the themes found within. When I read this book with students, they immediately begin to share their dreams and wishes...their imaginations burst into action and the sky is the limit!"

The same reviewer adds, "This book would be a wonderful tool in a primary classroom as it follows a pattern and teachers could ask their students to create their own pattern books. It also makes for a great read aloud and lends itself as a springboard for visual arts, drama and of course, class discussions (i.e. community circle) about dreams...this is a must have for educators and families!"

"Dreams in My Dreambook" is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Borders and other popular online bookstores.
