SailPoint CEO and founder Mark McClain will speak about implementing identity management technologies and the emerging identity governance market at this week's Digital ID World Conference in Anaheim, California. McClain will appear at two sessions:
Lessons from Successful Compliance Deployments, Sept. 10th at 11:25 a.m.
Description: Compliance has been the number one driver in identity deployments for the last several years. Some analysts are (prematurely) calling the "compliance driver" over and done, but most deployments are still struggling with achieving the level of automation that they require. This panel discussion will explore how companies have used identity to achieve compliance.
Managing The Business Of Identity, Sept. 10th at 2:05 p.m.
Description: In recent years, regulatory compliance, auditable controls, and effective risk management have given rise to a new class of solutions focused on "identity intelligence". This session will look at the critical issues companies are facing, and the role identity intelligence plays as those companies attempt to bridge the gap between business policy and technology infrastructure, while balancing the needs of users, IT staff, the company and its stakeholders.
Also at the Digital ID World Conference, SailPoint will demonstrate IdentityIQ 3.0 for the first time. Announced this week (see release), IdentityIQ 3.0 is an identity governance solution that alleviates the cost, complexity and burden of security and compliance by providing 360-degree visibility into and control over identity data throughout the entire enterprise. It combines business roles and policies with technical data mined from across the IT environment, providing meaningful, business-relevant identity information in easy-to-read reports and dashboards.
