The announcement was made by James DiGeorgia, president and founder of Boca Raton, FL-based Renaissance Health, who said the purchase of Chesapeake was a cash and stock transaction. Chesapeake manufactures and distributes its own line of nutritional supplements through mail order.
Chesapeake is based in Plantation, FL and was founded by president, Don Mahoney, in 2004.
