Online CPAP Community Releases Results of the Fifth Product Challenge

The Product Challenge is an industry first opportunity for CPAP manufacturers with similar products to challenge each other publicly in CPAP user satisfaction trials. The Fifth Product Challenge was initiated by SleepNet to compare the differences between the IQ Gel Nasal Mask and the ComfortGel Nasal Mask. The largest enrollment for a Product Challenge to date, 824 Respironics ComfortGel users signed up to participate. All Product Challenges are administered in an impartial manner and customer preferences are not influenced by either manufacturer. Fifty people were selected through an open enrollment and the CPAPtalk Product Challenge vetting standards. An IQ Nasal Mask was sent to each participant who utilized the mask for two weeks and completed a detailed satisfaction survey.
