Approximately one in four online American adults visits social networking sites at least monthly. Should insurance communicators be considering social media in their communications mix? Mark Stone, Principal & Marketing Strategist for Insurance Insight Group will present a workshop that helps insurance communicators better understand how social media works and how it can be used to engage a sales force.

The presentation, "Using Social Media to Engage Your Sales Force," will be an interactive look at a variety of issues related to social media, including tactics and strategies that will allow insurance communicators to build better relationships and an optimal customer experience.
"Our goal is to provide attendees with a better understanding of various social media tools and how to implement the right tools to build better relationships with their sales force. Ultimately, the end result should be improved customer satisfaction and sales," said Stone.
Stone and his staff of will also be receiving an I.F.C.A. Award of Excellence in the association's annual competition for their entry "Using Integrated Marketing Communications to Build Brand and Establish Expertise."
