The Book of Clouds is a collection of images featuring clouds in many variations and was started by Jay Versluis in 2007 as a Blog with very frequent updates. See the Blog at http://www.bookofclouds.co.uk.

The 100x160cm large Acrylic Diasec Edition was ordered for The Clinic, Loft's first floor HD and standards conversion department. Jeremy Bronitt, Founder and Managing Director of Loft says, "We were looking for a large piece of artwork to make our clients feel at home, and Jay's work was ideal. It was very difficult to decide for only one particular cloud from his collection. The one we finally chose makes you feel like you're Superman, flying through the sky".

All images in The Book of Clouds are available as Limited Editions in sizes from 30x45cm to 100x160cm, as well as mini-posters from Jay Versluis Fine Art at http://www.versluis.com.

The artist has also been commissioned to take portraits of the Loft team and the interiors. Bronitt has also shown an interest in Jay and Julia Versluis' upcoming Miami Beach Huts collection, and has already acquired three Artist Proof prints prior to the official release for the reception area at Loft London.

Versluis would like to make a collection of his cloud series available as a published book in the near future, but he also hints at plans for a television release. Says Versluis, "Although the project started as a series of still images, we have shot some time-lapse footage of clouds as a supplement, and to make the blog more interesting. Once we had uploaded them to YouTube, we could see great potential as a relaxing series of videos and installations. Watch out for a full 24/7 Cloud-TV channel coming soon!"

In the meantime, Limited Edition Prints and Postersfrom Book of Clouds are available at http://www.versluis.com.
