FileCatalyst File Acceleration technology showcased at IBC

The FileCatalyst® file acceleration technology showcased at Europe's leading show for media publishers and digital content providers.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands (PRWEB) September 12, 2008 -- Unlimi-Tech Software will be showcasing its product suite of accelerated file transfer solutions at the IBC show from September 12 till September 16, held at RAI Center in Amsterdam. The product suite presented at the show includes FileCatalyst® Direct, FileCatalyst® Webworkflow and FileCatalyst® Webmail.

The FileCatalyst® technology is completely software-based, and is designed to overcome network performance bottlenecks to maximize use of available bandwidth. Improved file transfer speeds combined with incremental transfers and on-the-fly compression provide real-world increases 100 fold over traditional file transfer methods. This acceleration technology is packaged into the various product suite.

FileCatalyst® Direct is a point-to-point transfer system that offers advanced scheduling and administration features. The latest version of FileCatalyst® Direct 2.6 supports several improvements, including improved bandwidth management to garuntee file delivery times, higher level of security through proactive abuse monitoring and SNMP traps for server status.

FileCatalyst® Webmail allows end users to send files of any size to anywhere in the world, using only the recipient's email address. FileCatalyst® Web Workflow combines the patent pending FileCatalyst® acceleration technology with a web interface, offering upload and tracking of digital content.
