help realize those hopeful words spoken by Abraham Lincoln- 'My dream is of a place and time where America will once again be seen as the last best hope of Earth'.
Los Angeles (PRWEB) September 12, 2008
In response to the purported paucity of proposals put forward by the Democratic and Republican Parties, a new popular, populist political party has arisen - the National Optimists Party (NOP).
According to Chris Johnson, the spokesman for NOP, "The Democrat and Republican institutions are not fit to govern in these times, not due to their record of achievements, their obligations to entrenched interests, or the intractable nature of institutions, but simply because they are institutions. As the sociologist Max Weber said, the purpose of institutions is to perpetuate themselves. Our times demand a governing body dedicated wholly to perpetuating the well-being of the citizenry and enacting a carefully crafted plan to insure a vibrant and vital future for this great land - and beyond."
Advocating a strong presence for peace at home and abroad, life-long healthcare and educational opportunities for all, the renovation of infrastructure and a renewed dedication to scientific and technological advancement, the National Optimists Party envisions both a bright future and the means to realize it.
The National Optimists Party presents as their candidate for President, MRS. EVELYN DARLING; a candidate who champions an IDEAL FUTURE for all and who possesses the foresight to elucidate the ways and means to achieve it.
Mrs. Darling's positions and the NOP party platform can be viewed at http://www.NationalOptimistsparty.org.
NOP's official mission is to "help realize those hopeful words spoken by Abraham Lincoln- 'My dream is of a place and time where America will once again be seen as the last best hope of Earth'."
The candidate, Evelyn Darling, and the NOP spokesman, Chris Johnson, are available for interview.
