IHRDC announces a licensing agreement with Pertamina Exploration and Production Technology Center (EPTC) for the delivery of its award-winning IPIMS e-Learning System.
Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 15, 2008 -- IHRDC announces a recently concluded licensing agreement with Pertamina Exploration and Production Technology Center (EPTC) for the Internet delivery of IHRDC's award-winning IPIMS e-Learning system for the oil and gas industry. This unique system is centered on upstream exploration and production technology and will be used to provide online support for the ongoing development of technical competencies for the Indonesian professional oil and gas workforce. There are more than 700 courses in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering and Formation Evaluation that will be available to Pertamina staff to build technical competencies.
The Pertamina Exploration and Production Technology Center (EPTC) was established on 27 September 2006. Its focus is on the development and innovation of earth sciences and technology and to support Pertamina exploration and production activities by providing reliable, responsive and effective, end-to-end E&P technology solutions. EPTC wishes to become "the Center of Excellence on Upstream Technology which has the capability of World Class E&P Technology" by 2014. The implementation of this vision includes the achievement of world class standards in information system management, HRD management, Technology Center Facilities, technological capabilities and in-house proprietary software.
