Starting September 15, 2008 and ending October 15, 2008, the contest encourages Boomers to share their stories about what inspires them to enjoy life to the fullest. Winning entries will be posted at Verving.com on October 30th, 2008.

Authors of nine winning essays will receive the following inspirational books that show Baby Boomers how to get the most out of life:

 
  • Three First Place winners will receive a signed copy of "ChefMD's Big Book of Culinary Medicine" by John La Puma, MD, FACP.
  • Three 2nd Place winners will receive a signed copy of "Learning Later, Living Greater: The Secret for Making the Most of Your After-50 Years" by Nancy Merz Nordstrom, M.Ed.
  • Three 3rd Place winners will receive a copy of "You're Only Young Twice; 10 Do Overs to Reawaken Your Spirit" by Dr. Ronda Beaman.

Entries may be up to 500 words and must be received no later than October 15, 2008. More details about the contest and its rules can be found at (http://www.verving.com).
