IKANO Fund Management Selects Fisher to Manage Small Cap Value Equity for its Portable Alpha Fund

IKANO is Fisher Investments' first European institutional client, and we hope to have future opportunities in the UK and the rest of Europe to provide our investment management services to other institutions, as well as individual investors through our Private Client Group.

U.S.-based asset manager Fisher Investments announced IKANO Fund Management's recent decision to hire Fisher Investments to manage a small cap value equity portion of its Portable Alpha Fund and its US Small Cap Equity Fund.

Fisher Investments, a global money manager headquartered in California, has one of the longest performance histories in small cap value equity management, serving an impressive roster of institutional clients for over 20 years.

"We are pleased IKANO selected Fisher Investments as a fund manager," said Andrew Teufel, co-president and director of research at Fisher Investments. "IKANO is Fisher Investments' first European institutional client, and we hope to have future opportunities in the UK and the rest of Europe to provide our investment management services to other institutions, as well as individual investors through our Private Client Group."

Luxembourg-based IKANO utilizes a strict selection process when seeking a fund manager, noting they choose those who can "provide for added performance while diversifying risk." IKANO chose FIIG based on many factors, including Fisher Investments' long performance history and investment process.
