Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 16, 2008 -- On Sunday, October 19th, thousands of individuals will participate in the largest and most visible AIDS charity fundraising event in the southeast. AIDS Walk Atlanta will start at 2:00 PM at Piedmont Park. Your donations and sponsorships will benefit those affected/infected with HIV/AIDS.
AIDS Walk Atlanta needs 16,000 people to walk in order to raise funds. Your sponsorship will help those organizations that are on the front lines helping everyone with HIV/AIDS in need of support and treatment.
The annual impact of AIDS Walk Atlanta is tremendous. Proceeds benefit AID Atlanta and 9 other AIDS Service Organizations including: AIDGwinnett, Inc., AIDS Survival Project, AIDS Alliance for Faith and Health(AAFH), Aniz, Inc., Home But Not Alone (HBNA), Jerusalem House, Positive Impact, Inc., and Project Open Hand
