Overpelt, Belgium (PRWEB) September 17, 2008 -- Residential Systems magazine awarded Beamax on September 3rd the award for best industrial design at the Cedia Expo in Denver. This award honors the top industrial designs in the consumer electronics channel. Leaving behind 2 other finalists in the projection screen category, Beamax was awarded for the X-series Dellegno projection screen. This 80" diagonal ascending projection screen is housed in a stylish high-gloss cabinet. The plug-and-play projection screen allows for a stylish home theatre in non-dedicated rooms. By allowing customers to choose the color of the cabinet, the projection screen becomes a highlight of the room compared to the traditional projection screens that are often an eyesore in living rooms.

Says Otto Tromm, designer of the X-series and owner of Beamax: "The idea of having a projection screen in a living room is often the topic of a spousal discussion. Now there's a projection screen that looks great, especially when it's not in use." With its sharp lines it's a great match for contemporary interiors. The compact size makes the screen work especially in rooms where space is at a premium. Jeremy Glowacki, Residential System's editorial director says:" There's an increasing emphasis on industrial design in the consumer electronics/custom installation channel".

The X-series Dellegno is an 80" diagonal electrically ascending projection screen. It's appears from its high gloss housing at the press of a button, creating a real wow-effect that's the perfect start of any movie. The screen fabric is surrounded by a 2 inch wide black border that adds more punch to the projected image. Its matt white coating creates a wide viewing angle that makes sure there are no "cheap seats" in the room.

It's easy to make the X-series the right fit for any room, because the color can be chosen from the range of RAL and NCS color schemes. This option is available at no extra cost. The X-Series Dellegno retails at US$4495 and is available through Beamax's world-wide dealer network.
