Energy Curtailment Specialists, Inc. (ECS), the largest privately held demand response provider in the country, is pleased to introduce the completion of the operation center for its demand response programs, called the PowerPay! OpNet Center.

The OpNet Center will allow ECS to monitor and analyze the electric loads of its customers and see their electricity use in real-time. The OpNet Center will also enable its PowerPay! customers with the ability to see actual real-time performance during an event from any internet browser in the world.
The core component of the OpNet Center is the Wireless Access Protocol (WAP), enabling services that will provide the user with the ability to monitor real time data from their own smart phones or internet enabled PDAs.
"The PowerPay! OpNet Center is the most versatile and powerful monitoring center of its kind," said Dan Perez, vice president of technology for ECS. "Having the WAP at the heart of the Center provides an added value to the end user that is unique in its class and invaluable in its functionality."
The PowerPay! OpNet Center gives the user the ability to perform energy reports on accumulated energy usage values and real forecast evaluations. It can also determine where the customer has the ability to take more aggressive energy conservation measures in a single location or across an entire portfolio of facilities throughout a city, state or country. ECS plans to offer tours of its OpNet Center to industry professionals and interested customers in the near future.
