DrivingSales (http://www.DrivingSales.com)], the automotive industry's original online dealership best practices and professional networking community, today announced the next stage of its newest groundbreaking feature, Automotive Vendor Ratings: any logged in member can now view the live vendor ratings and reviews. Over the past month, dealership employees have begun rating the vendor products they have experience using, but members could not read the submitted reviews until now. As this resource grows, it promises to pay big dividends for dealers when making purchase decisions, for example, on which website company to partner with or what third party leads to buy.

While dealers have always exchanged information on the products and services they use, DrivingSales' Vendor Ratings provides a breakthrough in communication efficiency and speed via its real-time mass collaboration. Dealers who consult these reviews will gain insights from their peers nationwide to learn what works and what doesn't, before making a purchasing decision. Vendors on the platform have the opportunity to receive real-time feedback and to leverage tools that can help them innovate faster and deliver higher performing products to dealers. While the community is young, vendors and dealers alike are seeing the potential as it gains critical mass.

"When I first heard about DrivingSales' Vendor Ratings, honestly I didn't imagine how significantly they could help us," stated Navid Azadi, CEO of DealerOn. "Once I realized, however, that we would have direct, real-time access to an unprecedented amount of customer feedback, I began to see the huge opportunity the ratings offer us. I look forward to seeing the reviews and having the chance to get current and past customer feedback on this new platform. We will actively use this information to drive innovation and continuously enhance our service."

Inside the Vendor Ratings system, DrivingSales members maintain a wiki-enabled catalog of products and services, whereby any logged in member can add or edit information. By allowing everyone to participate, the content stays current and accurate because it is self-regulating. Only dealers, however, can submit reviews; DrivingSales employs a series of safeguards to maintain the system's integrity. Each vendor rating contains a 1-5 star rating, a written review, and an answer to the question, "Would you recommend this product to a friend?" Currently, websites, Internet leads, inventory advertising services, and search marketing services are live, with more product categories being added in the coming weeks, including CRM tools, DMS systems, sales trainers and consultants, and more.

"Vendor product ratings and reviews are not new to the Internet, but DrivingSales is pioneering them inside the automotive industry," commented Jared Hamilton, DrivingSales founder and CEO. "We enable mass collaboration and deliver the results to dealerships in real-time so everyone benefits from cutting edge information. Right now, it's more important than ever for dealers to make the best possible financial decisions. Access to first-hand knowledge about vendor products, without corporate bias, will help dealers get the essential information they need for critical decision-making."
