The PaperWise third quarter release is the product of strategic changes to both internal processes and the PaperWise Suite; the end result is a solution with new features and functionalities, Active Directory Integration, PDF Enhancements, and Automation Suite, built in line with the challenges businesses face today.

"We have worked diligently on strategies that will support the consistent delivery of new products and product enhancements while continually improving the overall stability of both our processes and products," said Professional Services Group Manager, Larry Vernon.

The ultimate goal in the development of version 6.3 was to meet customer needs by achieving a balance between new features and improved functionality. With this balance in mind, customer needs generally fell into one of three categories for a development team. For PaperWise, new product development was satisfied with the Automation Suite, product enhancements met with Active Directory Synchronization, and overall stability was achieved through Extended PDF Functionality.

The latest feature developed for version 6.3 is the Automation Suite, a program that helps automate existing workflow processes. With this feature, an efficient workflow is created then integrated into the application, streamlining processes with added security. Users also experience increases in productivity such as minimized time required to fill out, move, and file documents and the automation of steps that previously required human interaction.

Previous enhancements in user management are taken to a whole new level with the Active Directory Integration. Through this feature, IT Administrators can automatically synchronize PaperWise users with Active Directory users, simplifying the management of multiple user IDs and passwords. This synchronization allows PaperWise users and groups to be updated from information stored in the Active Directory.

Version 6.3 contains significant improvements to PDF functionality across the PaperWise Suite, including Query, Workbench, and WebWise. Using Enhanced PDF Processing, multiple documents can be converted then packaged into one PDF file and sent with other office documents. User friendly, this feature provides options for PDFs such as how to send (export, email, print, etc.) or in what color (black and white, multi-color, grayscale).

"At PaperWise, we make it a priority to create and maintain a supreme product. With feedback from our customers, we have been able to achieve this goal," explained Dan Langhofer, CEO of PaperWise, "Version 6.3 is just that - a quality product inspired by the input of our customers in conjunction with the ingenuity and implementation of our Team."
