"Four or five years ago, a friend gave me a bird feeder for Christmas. Aimed at novice bird watchers and nature hobbyists, the Lauries' site has a myriad of bird feeders of all types -- ones specific towards certain types of birds and even squirrel-proof bird feeders.

"Our products go from relatively inexpensive starter feeders to feeders that are yard decorations that may be a bit more expensive," said Laurie. "They make beautiful enhancements for the yard."

Ironically, something that began as a hobby for the Lauries has turned into something of a passion -- to the point where they're able to offer premium products for burgeoning nature lovers; and to think, all they really wanted to do was share their fun with others.
