Everything on the website is crafted well and can fit into varying styles. They're really adaptable

Traveling from time zone to time zone can wreak havoc on your sense of time and tire you out. Richard Norwood is aware of this, as someone who has spent much of working life traveling abroad. When Norwood decided to start his own business, he looked no further than the time piece relaxing on his wrist.
"Time is very important, in fact, I order my life around time," said Norwood. "I've always loved grandfather clocks and I got drawn to cuckoo clocks when I lived in Germany and they had beautiful clocks. They really add elegance your home."
Norwood founded http://www.MinutemanClocks.com in February 2008 and got to work. Offering a selection of affordable grandfather and cuckoo clocks, Norwood wants to inject finely crafted beauty into peoples' homes.
"Everything on the website is crafted well and can fit into varying styles. They're really adaptable," said Norwood.
Even with how new the company is, Norwood already has plans on expanding it: "Right now, we offer mid-range clocks. We have elegant timepieces, but not at elegant prices. We're going to be covering grandmother clocks, mantle clocks and perhaps some decorative sundials.
"We may branch out towards expensive clocks, but right now, we keep them at affordable prices," Norwood added.
In keeping in further touch with his customers - as well as home décor fans - Norwood developed a blog, http://www.GrandfatherClocks-Blog.com. "We want to give information on time," explained Norwood. "How clocks have developed throughout history and how to maintain them to keep them running well."
Timepieces are an important part of life, as well as being on time. Richard Norwood is dedicated to ensuring that people have beautiful clocks available for their homes, as well appreciating their rich history and general maintenance.
"There's a certain amount of elegance that comes with grandfather clocks," said Norwood, "and I'm happy to be able to help people get these beautiful pieces onto their walls."
