Tarzana, California (PRWEB) September 18, 2008
Los Angeles-based fashion label, Everyday Villains, presents 777 at the clothing boutique, Chocolate Crocodile, in Tarzana, California. 777 is an event created to give exposure to up and coming Los Angeles-based artists and to celebrate the launch of Everyday Villains' latest clothing collection.
As a brand, Everyday Villains is influenced by all forms and art mediums and recognizes street art as a driving force in its overall design aesthetic. As a kick-off for their latest season, Everyday Villains has commissioned seven of LA's most notorious underground artists to create unique pieces based on the designs of their new collection. Each artist has been assigned one design to use as inspiration for their piece. The night of the event each piece will be showcased next to the design from which it was based.
Artists showcasing at 777 include Puede One, Codak, Scott Ortner, Benware, Green Fingers, JAO and Smog City. Their pieces will hang on the walls of Chocolate Crocodile, the San Fernando Valley's premier boutique for streetwear and urban apparel, for the duration of the evening and will be made available for purchase on the night of the event only.
At 777 all Everyday Villains apparel will be sold at special, event-only rates as visitors will have the first chance to see and purchase the new collection. Additionally, 777 will feature a unique, limited edition t-shirt created by Everyday Villains in collaboration with the artists of 777 and Chocolate Crocodile.
Admission is free and open to the public. Chocolate Crocodile will open its doors beginning at 7:00 PM the night of the event, concluding at 12:00 AM. Additionally, Clandestine Rabbit Tattoo will keep their doors open and will have a full staff on hand tattooing live throughout the event. DJs tRUEradio and Co.Fee will be spinning a special collection of music created specifically for 777. Open bar will be made available to all comers ages 21 and up.
About Everyday Villains
Everyday Villains blends LA life, pop culture, music and reality. Everyday Villains explores the darker elements of LA life, without promoting a negative view of our culture. It's not all about violence, there's a sense of humor there too. Everyday Villains blurs the lines of what is good, evil and humorous. You'll find apparel that incorporates LA landmarks, hip hop lyrics, elements of pop culture, film and the reality of life.
Everyday Villains' clothes are not just for the hardcore kids out there fighting their way through the streets, it's also for the Everyday People out there who live and die in this culture. Everyday Villains is for the kids bombing billboards, grinding rails, chasing after the limited dunks, spinning in the clubs or spinning in their parent's basement, or just straight hustling trying to make something out of nothing. It's also for the kids who grew up into adults but still love everything about this culture.
Everyday Villains for Everyday People.
