Innovative feature from bInfinity Web Inc. offers women a special place online where they can share and support each other's dreams for a baby

Not pregnant…yet! Trying and trying. We need baby dust. Sending everyone else baby dust!!

Whether you're blowing out your birthday candles, fishing in your pocket for a penny to throw in the fountain, or watching a shooting star, humans have always believed in the magical power of "making a wish."

Now, thanks to a just-added feature on MyMonthlyCycles® (, a website that women already use to track and manage all aspects of their menstrual cycles and related health information, there is a Trying to Conceive Wishing Well in cyberspace.

Designed as the first free, interactive Wishing Well of its kind, the site allows women to post wishes there (either anonymously or with a screen name) and link their wishes to other forums, blogs, and email so friends and family can view and send "support wishes" in return. Site visitors can also post "support wishes" of their own. And when a wish is accompanied by a little star, it means that the wish came true.

Women already turn to as a trusted web resource to help them easily map out their menstrual cycle lengths and fertility cycle details, all important information when trying to conceive. And, now, with the addition of the Wishing Well, there's a unique way for women to collectively share their conception journeys with positive actions: posting a wish, and receiving "support wishes" in return.

The MyMonthlyCycles Wishing Well has already been filled with hundreds of wish-postings since the feature went live on September 2, 2008, and become a virtual community for women trying to conceive (or "TTC" in online lingo).

Thus, msbuffy recently posted this wish: "I am 42 and my new husband is 33. We are trying to complete our family by having our own child. Been trying for over a year with different procedures," and 77 "support wishes" were posted in response. A recent anonymous visitor posted this wish, "Not pregnant…yet! Trying and trying. We need baby dust. Sending everyone else baby dust!!" Well wishers posted 92 support wishes, including 58 "tons of baby dust" responses. PreggoLuva simply wrote "TWINS," to which 54 responses were posted.

For women who believe in the old adage that positive energy helps wishes come true, posting a wish in the Trying to Conceive Wishing Well can be comforting, especially when that one thought, "When will I get pregnant?" is often consuming. And, on return to the well, a wish poster can view how many more "support wishes" she has received, thereby positively energizing her TTC journey.
