WebMD and the National Wellness Institute formally announce the fall schedule of their five level Certification Program for professionals in the Wellness, Healthcare, and Insurance Industries
Stevens Point, WI (PRWEB) September 18, 2008 -- WebMD and the National Wellness Institute formally announce the fall schedule of their five level Certification Program for professionals in the Wellness, Healthcare, and Insurance Industries. Attendees will learn best-practices for designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that improve health and reduce the costs due to health care and lost productivity.
Some key practices will include:
-- How to build senior management support for wellness efforts
-- How to assess employee needs and design wellness initiatives
-- How to enhance participation
-- How to assess economic return of wellness initiatives
The program will be delivered by Larry Chapman, MPH, Senior Vice President of WebMD Health Services and Trustee of the National Wellness Institute. Mr. Chapman is perhaps the world's foremost authority on worksite wellness.
