Game Casa Filming TV Pilot At Guiness World Record Event
The Game Casa crew will be filming a pilot for their upcoming TV show from September 19-21 at World Record Weekend, sponsored by Guiness. The event will be held at Challenge Arcade in Wyomissing, PA September 18-21 and will be refereed by Twin Galaxies. Not only will Game Casa film their pilot at this event, but two of its cast members will be competing for world records. Brandon DiCamillo (of Jackass and Viva La Bam fame) and Bud Pelaez will go for the records in Mortal Kombat and Metal Slug respectively.
West Chester, PA (PRWEB) September 19, 2008 -- The Game Casa crew will be filming a pilot for their upcoming TV show from September 19-21 at World Record Weekend, sponsored by Guiness. The event will be held at Challenge Arcade in Wyomissing, PA September 18-21 and will be refereed by Twin Galaxies. Other sponsors include Pepsi, Subway and Rickey's Hot Sauce.
Registered players will compete for the world records in multiple arcade titles, including Millipede, Mrs. Pack Man and Spy Hunter. Special events include the Frog-Off, where world class gamers will compete to reach the fictitious score 863,050 (featured on the hit show Seinfeld) and the World Record Marathon, where a special prize with be given to any gamer who can play for more than 67.5 hours.
Not only will Game Casa film their pilot at this event, but two of its cast members will be competing for world records.
Brandon DiCamillo (of Jackass and Viva La Bam fame) and Bud Pelaez will go for the records in Mortal Kombat and Metal Slug respectively. Other gamers of note include Mark Alpiger and Todd Rogers, both stars of the critcly aclaimed documentary, The King Of Kong: A Fistful Of Quarters.
Game Casa and Challenge Arcade will also be selling merchandise and giving away prizes throughout the duration of the even. Fans and spectators are welcome to join the fun.
