The National Association of Mortgage Processors (NAMP) has always been at the forefront of taking measures to decrease mortgage fraud activities. The recently launched Mortgage Vendor Directory not only allows mortgage professionals to find vendors serving a specific area, but also allows for objective ratings to help prevent unscrupulous companies from gaining traction.
NAMP's new website http://www.MortgageVendors.org is designed for easy navigation, so users can find vendors of any type with a single click, from notary agents to insurance companies, closing attorneys to credit report agencies, and much more. Once again, NAMP has answered a demand for back-office mortgage professionals (mortgage processors, contract processors, and in-house loan processors) to have the ability to easily locate a myriad of ethical vendors in order to fulfill their needs.
The clear-cut dropdown menu allows users to select the vendor type, and then enter the zip code of the desired location. Just click "Go" to be directed to a clearly defined listing which again classifies the vendor by type, and also discloses their phone number, a link to the full vendor profile, as well as other important information such as whether the vendor has bilingual capabilities, and is bonded or E-O insured. There is also a link for NAMP members to receive special discounts. Each listing even features a 5-star user rating system so that mortgage professionals can review the experiences of other their colleagues. Developed by NAMP, this easy-to-use page is yet another resource provided to mortgage professionals in order to make their job simpler and easier to manage.
NAMP has focused on creating a service that is designed to help the back-office mortgage staff locate the vendors they need to close loans at the touch of a button. Through listening to NAMP's member base of mortgage processors, NAMP has yet again heard the need and answered the call with the new Mortgage Vendor Directory.
Based in the heart of Washington D.C., the National Association of Mortgage Processors (NAMP) is known throughout the mortgage processing industry as the voice of today's mortgage processor. NAMP is dedicated to assisting contract loan processors as well as in-house mortgage loan processors, in all aspects of their business.
