DealerDirect gives busy designers, collectors and other buyers the additional option to track down items from their wish list with just a few clicks of their mouse. Imagine a user's increased buying power when they can have an entire network of qualified dealers at their disposal looking for that specific item.
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 18, 2008
Continuing its mission to completely redefine the way antiques and fine art are sold online, Bond & Bowery (http://www.bondandbowery.com) introduces DealerDirect an innovative approach for connecting buyers and sellers via the web. As the cornerstone for the Bond & Bowery website's new Premium Membership features, DealerDirect enables buyers to interact directly with Bond & Bowery's entire international dealer network.
"The current industry internet model only allows dealers to post merchandise on a web site and have prospective buyers browse and search for something they like," said Bond & Bowery co-founder Ben Spaisman. "DealerDirect gives busy designers, collectors and other buyers the additional option to track down items from their wish list with just a few clicks of their mouse. Imagine a user's increased buying power when they can have an entire network of qualified dealers at their disposal looking for that specific item."
Premium Members can submit a written item description and even attach a photo of an item or one similar to what is desired. Once submitted, the anonymous request will be posted to a dealer listing page available dynamically to all dealers. If a dealer chooses to respond, he will click on a response button and the reply will be automatically sent to the buyer's email address. Bond & Bowery will monitor all posts to ensure the list's credibility.
"DealerDirect is a terrific time saver and productivity tool, especially if you have a list of specific items you're searching for," said Irwin Weiner ASID. "It's almost like having your own high-end personal shopper."
The DealerDirect feature is the first of a number of enhancements for Bond & Bowery's Premium Members. In the coming year, Bond & Bowery will launch a number of new and unique features geared to enhance the shopping experience for registered users and further differentiate itself as a leader in this category.
