Modwalls®, "Making Tile Modern" will launch its newest product, Viridian recycled glass mosaic tile at the 2008 West Coast Green conference and exposition in San Jose, CA, September 25-27 2008 booth #400.
Modwalls®' new Viridian line of glass mosaic tile is made of 98% pre-consumer recycled glass. This gorgeously green product is as kind to the environment as it is beautiful to the eye. Derived from reclaimed glass building windows and manufacturing waste from window and windshields, Viridian is unique and eco-chic. It is currently available in a variety of colors and two formats.
1" square recycled glass tile with a soft iridescent sheen. It is an ideal finish for walls and low traffic floors, both indoor and out, including wet areas such as kitchen backsplashes, showers and swimming pools. Eight in stock colors include Moonlight and Mint, which were selected by Ecofabulous for installation in the bathrooms and kitchen of the West Coast Green 2008 Show house, "Harbinger House".
1" square recycled glass tile with a non-slip matte finish that is ideal for floors or walls, both indoor and out, including wet areas. Viridian Industrial is uniquely suited to high traffic commercial floors or building exteriors. Eight colors are in stock and ready for immediate delivery. They include fun bright shades of Apple green, Coffee brown and Persimmon orange.
California based modwalls® was founded by husband and wife team David Bousfield and Rebecca Lonergan. They manufacture and sell modern tile and wall coverings online, and ship throughout North America to both retail and trade customers. Most products are in stock for immediate delivery.
"We're excited to be a part of West Coast Green for the first time this year," states Lonergan. "It is a great opportunity for us to show our commitment to adding more sustainable products to our catalogue, and to learn from the green building and design community."
Other eco-friendly products which modwalls® will be showcasing at the expo include Cork Deluxe, cork mosaic penny round tile; ModRocks recycled glass pebbles and natural pebble tile; and a new skin-on Bamboo wall covering.
