Noventri Scores Big at Minute Maid Park as They Combine Sports and Food in Digital Menus

Astros fans relish in digital menu boards seen in food stands at Minute Maid Park. Dynamic menus and live video feed of games provide an awesome experience while waiting in line at the stadium.

Smithsburg, MD (PRWEB) September 20, 2008 -- Until now, fans waiting in lines to purchase goodies at games knew it meant missing the play of the evening. But Noventri has provided a tasteful and dynamic solution with digital menu boards that also provide live video feed of the game. No longer do fans have to miss part of the game while obtaining snacks at the food stands since they can now watch the game while leisurely perusing menus.

Minute Maid Park, located in Houston, Texas and home to the Houston Astros, opened its doors in 2000. The stadium is the first in Houston that has a retractable roof, a natural, grass playing field and sports many high-tech video boards throughout.

The stadium wanted menu boards in the food stands on the Club Level of the stadium to reflect the same high-tech look as the rest of stadium so they turned to Aramark, the stadium's food services and facilities management contractor.

Aramark of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania understood that the stadium wanted menus that could be remotely and dynamically updated and offer live video feed of games for the ultimate fan satisfaction. Aramark directed the stadium's attention toward Noventri of Smithsburg, Maryland for a solution that covers all aspects of the stadium's needs.
"Aramark knew what the stadium wanted and they felt confident working with Noventri from past experience since we have proven that we can exceed their expectations with similar installs and technology," says Wil Conklin, Sales Director for Noventri.

Noventri's visioneering team created digital menu boards that list menu items, televises live video feed of the game, and can show current scores and stats. The Noventri flat-panel menu boards are dynamic and have been fully integrated with Astros' databases so that any changes in pricing or offerings are immediately reflected on the screens.
Noventri worked side-by-side with Minute Maid Park and Aramark to achieve the best viewing angles of the menu boards and to create the stadium's content for the screens using the Astros logo and colors to make the menus much more appealing to fans. Noventri continues to manage the Minute Maid Park menu content remotely, assuring that the Astros' menus are always fresh and appealing throughout the season.
