Ban® and Curél® brand sites take top industry honors.

The Web Marketing Association has announced the winners of its 2008 WebAward Competition, in which digital marketing strategy and services agency Enlighten was the recipient of two honors for its work on Kao Brands Company sites. The Ban® brand antiperspirant and deodorant site (http://www.feelbanfresh.com) was named Best Consumer Goods Website, while the Curél® Skincare site (http://www.curel.com) was granted a Consumer Goods Standard of Excellence Award.

The sites were judged against other leading CPG brands' properties based on criteria that included design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use. As the highest scoring Consumer Goods site, Ban® received the Best Website honor for the Consumer Goods industry. The Curél® site scored above the industry average when compared with other category entries, securing its Standard of Excellence WebAward.
