Tonawanda, NY (PRWEB) September 23, 2008
Western New York dog owners who take frequent vacations and work long days now have an alternative to putting their pup in a kennel all day: Camp Bow Wow®!
Camp Bow Wow® strives to provide a fun, safe and upscale environment where dogs can play, romp and receive lots of love and attention! Western New York pups are howling with excitement at the announcement of Camp Bow Wow's® Grand Opening.
Western New York residents were introduced to the alternative in traditional kenneling by Mark and Nanette Luczak in August 2008. Come celebrate with Camp Bow Wow® at their Grand Opening Event on Saturday, October 4, 2008. The event will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the campsite located at 231 Grand Island Blvd. in Tonawanda, NY, just off the I-190 thruway at the Kenmore / Sheridan exits. Please join us for a day of fun and Camp Bow Wow® vendors and activities.
If you have ever found yourself wondering what your pet is thinking, come see famous pet psychic and animal communicator, Marla Steele as seen on Animal Planet. She will be providing free readings and insight into your dog's thoughts and feelings. Besides famous pet psychic Marla Steele, other tail wagging happenings include:
- Dog Obstacle Course
- Bobbing for Hot Dogs
- Owner / Dog look a-like contest
- Best dog trick
- Park 'N' Bark groomer Kacie Zglinicki offering FREE nail trims and ear cleanings
- Nature's Variety Dog Food Representative addressing dietary issues for your dog
- Prizes and Gift Certificates from Wild Eye Photos
- And Much More!
When asked what makes their service special, owners Nanette and Mark Luczak replied, "The doggy campers at Camp Bow Wow® enjoy all-day play which separates us from most other dog-care facilities, where the dogs spend the most of the day in kennels or only go outside on individual runs". In addition to excellence in daycare and boarding, Camp Bow Wow® is fostering dogs from the Erie County SPCA working to find homes for and re-socializing abused dogs within Camp's safe atmosphere.
At Camp Bow Wow® the pups romp around the three outdoor play areas featuring pup pools so the dogs can splash around during the warm summer months! The facility also has three climate controlled indoor play areas and a doggy lounge. As an additional safety measure, dogs are separated by size and temperament of play. Camp Bow Wow® strives to provide an environment that is as clean and safe as possible for campers. All campers must be spayed or neutered, current on their Rabies, Distemper and Bordatella (Canine Cough) vaccinations. Campers are served their very own food during their stay to avoid upset tummies, and special requests -- from medicines, extra treats, or care for older pups -- are provided at no extra cost! All Certified Camp Counselors® are trained in dog first aid and CPR to ensure your pup has a safe stay.
"Before campers can register at Camp Bow Wow® they go through a minimum of a 3-hour interview process to make sure they are not aggressive and that they will enjoy the camp experience," Mark said. Camp Bow Wow® Certified Camp Counselors® are all trained in dog behavior and a counselor is constantly supervising the campers at play.
Camp Bow Wow® day-care services start at $25.00 for a full day of camp and $14.00 for a half day of daycare. Overnights start at $35.00 per night. Day Camp packages are available and discounts are given for multiple dogs and extended stays.
Please join us to celebrate Western New York's newest doggie business and meet friends in the neighborhood. Be sure to bring your kids, cameras and of course your friendly dogs to this Grand Opening Celebration at Camp Bow Wow® on Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
