The MAN After Sales business unit is responsible for managing parts for trucks and buses, incuding procurement, manufacturing, logistics, pricing, and complaint handling. The new enterprise-wide solution will enable MAN to effectively implement a value-based pricing strategy, enhance customer satisfaction, and deliver on the company's objectives.
MAN selected SAP Price and Margin Management after an extensive vendor evaluation process. Based on its evaluation, the company concluded that the SAP Price and Margin Management was the best solution available to fit its functional requirements. Those requirements include price setting and management across a large volume of parts, greater visibility to track prices, and the ability to make strategic moves proactively. Other key considerations in MAN's selection of SAP Price and Margin Management were ease of use, streamlined integration, and a scalable technology architecture that will enable management to achieve its business objectives with the lowest total cost of ownership.

Finally, the deep analytical capabilities of the solution will help increase visibility and transparency of prices.
