But very few have a quantitative measure that recognizes them as such.
Omaha, NE (PRWEB) September 24, 2008
Quantum Market Research is accepting nominations for its "2008 Employee Voice Award". The Employee Voice Award is an opportunity for firms to compete for national recognition as an employer of choice.
Deadline for nominations is October 31, 2008. Honored firms will be profiled in a report published December 2008.
Organizations that wish to be recognized for the quality of their corporate climate can undergo a survey to determine their standing. Participating firms will administer a 38-item employee engagement survey—the results of which will provide a baseline for the contest scoring. Employees will be asked to score items pertaining to Manager Effectiveness, Trust in Senior Leaders, Feeling Valued, People Practices, and six other factors.
"Most firms today talk about being an employer of choice," said Greg Harris, President of Quantum Market Research. "But very few have a quantitative measure that recognizes them as such."
Requirements for contest entry: Applicants must have at least 50 US-based employees; applicants must deploy Quantum's standardized online employee engagement assessment; and applicants must score in the top quartile of 2008 participants. Program fees are determined by number of employees within the organization. Full online reporting of survey results is included in program fee.
