Continued success of eB deployment stimulates acceleration of implementation throughout Constellation Energy's nuclear fleet. Enterprise Informatics today announced that Constellation Energy has expanded its use of eB Nuclear by licensing the eB for Nuclear applications for Design Engineering and control and management of the Master Equipment List for their Nuclear fleet.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) September 24, 2008 -- Enterprise Informatics, a leading provider of enterprise information management solutions that enable organizations to reduce the cost of meeting compliance requirements, minimize business risk and optimize process efficiency, today announced that Constellation Energy has expanded its use of eB Nuclear by licensing the eB for Nuclear applications for Design Engineering and control and management of the Master Equipment List for their Nuclear fleet.

Constellation initially selected eB Nuclear to manage the configuration control across three sites in their Nuclear fleet. After its initial implementation, they continued the expansion of eB Nuclear to address Information Management (records and controlled documents) and have deployed an industry leading Corrective Action and Human Performance application using eB Performance Improvement.

The addition of the Nuclear Design Engineering Application will provide control of their consolidated Master Equipment List, representative of five nuclear units across their fleet, and will integrate with IBM Maximo® for Work Control.

"Constellation's recent commitment to license our Nuclear Design Engineering application reinforces the breadth and depth of what our eB Nuclear Application Suite can offer the industry. Our customers are improving their operational efficiency, lowering operation costs, reducing business risk and enforcing governance policies using solutions that are compliant with industry processes," said Glenn Cox, Vice President, Nuclear Business Unit, Enterprise Informatics.
