We are very excited to have created this Women Standing Up for Women Team. It will be a blast to all walk together and support a worth cause
Miami, FL (PRWEB) September 24, 2008
On Saturday, October 11th 2008, Yesi Leon, Amy Alonso and Alison Burgos, (the ladies that make up Pandora Events) will be at it again as they celebrate their TEN YEAR anniversary in grand style. They will be taking over the historic and über chic, Moore Building and Bamboo Gardens in the Miami Design District for an over the top evening featuring dancing to the hottest DJs in Miami including: DJ Pride, Alex G (Kumba Records), Kaprah and Meesh. The eye candy will be plenty with sexy shows on the main stage all night long as well as a silent auction to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, VIPs will be treated to a royal experience in the Bamboo Gardens with a Finlandia open bar all night, delectable food tasting by local restaurants and its very own DJ.
The Susan G Komen for the Cure is the world's largest and most progressive grassroots network of activists, survivors & volunteers fighting to end breast cancer forever. They are dedicated to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.
Not only will there be a silent auction benefiting the Susan G Komen Miami/Fort Lauderdale chapter but Pandora Events will also launch it's "Women Standing for Women" Celebrity Race Team that everyone can become a part of. "We have always strived to give back to our community as part of the events we create. Working with Susan G. Komen was a natural fit since Breast Cancer has affected so many of us and is a serious health concern for lesbians" stated Yesi Leon, Pandora Co-Founder. "We are very excited to have created this Women Standing Up for Women Team. It will be a blast to all walk together and support a worth cause," said Amy Alonso.
Innovative, creative and just all around fierce come to mind when you think of the events and shows Pandora has had their hand in over the past ten years including: Girls In Wonderland at Gay Day Orlando, Women's White Party, the Women's events of Winter Party, Bang at Bongos, Atlanta Pride and Laugh Out Loud just to name a few. They have brought some of the top DJs, dancers, comedians, celebrities and live musical performances to the stage and are aiming to continue that tradition for years to come. The future looks bright for Pandora Events as they take their events to another level with more, more, more… That means more bikini-clad bodies at the pool parties, more gyrating forms on the dance floor for their signature dance parties, and more sizzling performances by the hottest female entertainers in the country.
Alison, Yesi, and Amy also are committed to remaining true to their shared philanthropic spirit and will continue to donate their time, resource and money to numerous non-profit organizations they support including: the Aqua Foundation for Women, Winter Party, Save, Care Resource and White Party, the National Center for Lesbian Right, The Miami Dade Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, Equality Florida and the Human Rights Campaign.
